So, you've chosen your ELEMENT/s marked your calendar and now you're all set to sign up!
Remember, the choice is yours, choose any Element or combination of Elements, do it Solo or grab your mates - however you do it, you'll find your Element.
If you want to take it all on and complete a triathlon there's a couple of extra things to know.

Late registration prices commence two weeks prior to the event. $20 additional per entry.
Whilst the race has a triathlon, for you it doesn't have to be the race you create. You get to pick which elements you want to tackle, and if that's not all three, then that's fine. Something to keep in mind is that there will also be a sanctioned Triathlon New Zealand race happening for amateur triathletes on the course at the same time. That won't change anything for participants who are out to enjoy themselves and aren't worried about racing a PB. But we want to be sure you know what's going on around you on race day.

For triathletes competing individually in all three legs, the race is classed as a Standard Distance/Mid Distance Offroad Tri. Only the triathlon is a Sanctioned Triathlon New Zealand race - any other combinations of legs will not be sanctioned, and so there will be no recognised aquathon, duathlon, or aquabike events on the day. This is a qualifying race.
If you do not hold a Tribe Membership you will need to buy one during registration - you can purchase a one-day license in order to compete in the race. Teams only require 1 licence to compete.
Your age category will be allocated based on your age as of the 31 December 2022.

REFUNDS & TRANSFERS
We understand that sometimes the best laid plans don't always go to...well...plan.
Refunds are available until the 31st of October minus a $10 admin fee. Past this date refunds will be processed as follows: up to 15th November - 50% Refund, up to 1st December 25% Refund, from the 15th of December no refunds will be provided. In the case of Force Majeure, including Covid 19 no refunds will be issued. You entry will automatically be transferred to a rearranged date or you will be provided with a credit towards any other Fusion Event.
If you would like to change your race elements this can be done until the 1 December with a $10 admin fee. Any changes to distances will be at the discretion of the Race Director depending on available space on the course. Name changes will also incur a $10 admin fee. If you would like to transfer your entry to 2023 this can be done up until 4 weeks prior to the race and will incur a $20 fee.
Any changes after this time will need to be requested in writing to becs(a)fusionevents.co.nz.
